About Lennon Training......
Lennon Training is a family owned business established in 1991 to service the training requirements of the mining industry. We have Training Centres located in Emerald, Moranbah and Brisbane.
Lennon Training has been the lead training contractor in many mine start-up’s and on-going provision of training services. Some of these mines were Rio Tinto's Hail Creek mine, Clermont Mine, Kestrel Mine Expansion project and Kestrel mine, BMA’s Gregory Crinum and Broadmeadow mines, Glencore Rolleston.
Internationally, Lennon Training have delivered in Papua New Guinea, the United Arab Emirates and China.
Lennon Training has a long history of involvement with key government instrumentalities and industry training bodies. Through these affiliations, Lennon Training has been instrumental in influencing industry training material.

Kerry, Lexia, John & Donna have over the years been supported in their endeavours to provide quality safety training to the region with an Administration Team that provide consistent information and Facilitators who hold credible mining industry experience and have the ability to communicate these values to mineworkers across the region and roles.

Being a Registered Training Organisation (#1674) with the Australian Government requires compliance also in the Vocational Education (VET) sector and this has been upheld since first acquiring the licence in 1993.
Training Centres
Emerald - 11 Kyle St
established 2006
With Industry increasingly developing their training function to be a key part of site compliance for safety and onboarding, the Lennon Family invested in a custom built training centre, the first of three that would support the ebb and flow of their clients for the years to come.

The campus provided Lennon's with space to build the unique training mine roadway gallery that would enhance the learning specifically for underground mineworkers and their safety behaviour for self-escape.
Moranbah - 28 Thorpe St
established 2011
To further support training services on the ground for key clients, a replica of the successful training mine roadway gallery was built and continues today as being a reliable venue for mineworkers to be trained and assessed with their self-escape techniques.
Brisbane - Eagle Farm TAFE
established 2013
In 2013 we established a co-provider agreement with Queensland TAFE Skill Tech (the technical/trades arm of Queensland TAFE) headquartered at Southbank, Brisbane. We established our signature underground training gallery on the Eagle Farm campus and are the TAFE Queensland international mining training division. The gallery on the Eagle Farm campus not only serves as a unique training facility but also as a show piece for the numerous mining delegations that visit Brisbane on study missions.
